The Lagoon

Laknisan Lagoon

Protected on all sides by ancient limestone formations, the lagoon is calm even when the open sea is not. The water is crystalline -- shallow enough to see every detail of the reef below, deep enough to swim and snorkel from your doorstep.

Tropical fish, sea turtles, and coral gardens live directly beneath the houseboats. At night, bioluminescence sometimes lights the water. No other resort shares this lagoon. It is entirely yours.

Our Commitment

We Float. We Don't Dig.

No concrete was poured. No reef was touched. The houseboats float — they don't anchor into the sea floor. We use Starlink instead of cables and operate with the lowest possible footprint on an island that doesn't belong to us. It belongs to the water, the rock, and the people who were here first.

The People

The Tagbanwa

Coron Island is ancestral domain. It has been home to the Tagbanwa people for generations -- long before tourism, long before maps drew borders around these waters. They are not a backdrop. They are the reason this place exists the way it does.

Paolyn Houseboats operates with 304 workers, the majority of whom are from the Tagbanwa community. They build, maintain, and guide. They know the tides, the fish, the caves, the stories. Working here isn't a program or a project. It is a partnership -- respectful, ongoing, and central to everything we do.

When you stay with us, you are a guest on their island. We think that's a privilege worth honoring.
